M.E.G.A, producer of forged fittings and special components for engineering systems in ferrous and non-ferrous materials, was founded in 1962 and assumed its present structure in 1983. In 1990 M.E.G.A. was accredited to ISO9001. M.E.G.A. brand High Pressure Pipe Fittings are Shell / Mobile / Caltex / Exxon approved. In 2009 M.E.G.A. S.p.A. was awarded ASME accreditation for material organization according to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Subsection NCA 3800.
